A summer of change could be made significantly more difficult due to a poor financial season for AC Milan.
Despite releasing a new kit this morning, which is expected to aid the club massively with revenue, there are issues expected. In fact, Milan are predicted to end this season with a loss in the accounts, for the first time in two years.
It is nothing new for a club to have negative accounts, of course not. However, with the Rossoneri needing to invest across a range of areas this summer, it could be a massive hit for the club.
Reports have already stated that the club have a €100 million hole to fix, but it seems that things are worse than this. Per estimations from Calcio e Finanza, €80m has gone ‘missing’ from the summer budget, and the summer will be ‘more complicated’, as a result.
Failing to qualify for Europe has been a big issue, as expected. Players, imaginably, will be less willing to play outside of Europe, regardless of the Diavolo’s size, whilst the finances will also take a hit.
Worryingly things ‘can be recovered’ on the market; however, whether this would actually be an aid to the project is a difficult one.

Pengar i Cardinales fickor
There you go. RedBird guns for sustainability and economic responsibility and as a result they’re a 100mil in the whole.
Well done.
I think that Elliot will take over and he’ll default the loan. Which would be ironic considering nit long ago smack talking Inter and their strategies
Inter has been covering their minuses every year. Get 100M for Reijnders from City and sign Luka Modric on a 1 year contract. Next season get into CL and buy a new player since Modric will retire after World Cup 2026. They did the same with Lukaku and Onana.
Oh no…, being stupid has its consequences? Who could have thought?
Where are the experts who keep defending the management and keep attacking Maldini? Even attking the ultras every time they boycott something. As if these experts have more financial and emotional investments in Milan than the ultras.
Interesting how when Napoli or Juve miss out on season targets its all good but when Milan does the world is burning
but i guess our online fanbase showed that they just want blood and negative news so thats what newspapers will print 24/7 and everyone will believe everything
next article it’ll state that Milan need to sell everyone just to stay afloat probably.
Please give us some positive news, we need it
tell me where are these articles last year? I never seen any
We know!!! How could we not – you’ve been posting this article with a different title every day for the past week.
Just don’t sell key players and buy 1 quality cdm and cb. We have Saelemaekers coming back. We can offload a bunch of players.
This is why deep down I would really like too see Milan in the grubby hands of some Emirate’s financial conglomerate – and ethical or human rights concerns can simply go to hell, being brutally sincere here.
Arab potentates are not concerned with ‘Sustainability’, ‘Economic Responsibility’, all this fvckin’ nonsense bullsh *** It, no, they see football as Soft Power, that is to say, a means of power projection, so that they are willing to spend pots of money with their properties, so that they can be victorious and bring institutional prestige for them goddamned monarchies …
hey dumba** this is Serie A, financial laws are much stricter than England
Yep, but it’s also corrupt and shaddy as hell… Just remember: we are talking about the birthplace of MAFIA. There’s always a way to get round these things…
