AC Milan and Inter are battling for another midfielder on the transfer market as Hellas Verona’s Antonin Barak is a target, according to a report.
After the two Milanese clubs fought for the likes of Stefano Sensi and Sandro Tonali while rumours persist about players such as Bremer and Julian Alvarez, another player has attracted the interest of the Rossoneri and the Nerazzurri according to the Venetian newspaper L’Arena (via MilanLive).
They claim that both teams want Barak from Hellas Verona, who has been doing well this season scoring five goals in the league and adding three assists after previous head coach Ivan Juric reinvented his role as an attacking midfielder in the last campaign before departing.
Milan and Inter have contacted Hellas Verona to understand the feasibility of the operation during which the Giallolu made it clear that Barak will not move in January, while it will be possible to negotiate at the end of the season but for €20m.
