AC Milan is always very attentive to young talents through their scouting team, and it is not just restricted to Italy nor even Europe.
It seems as though Milan’s scouts are very active in the Brazilian market at the moment, based on recent reports. This has been demonstrated by the saga that has emerged over André, the teenage Corinthians midfielder who has been the subject of a transfer tug-of-war.
According to Nicolo Schira of Tuttosport, there is another name currently playing in the South American league that Milan are keeping an eye on, someone who could have a future involving Italian football regardless of whether he makes the switch to the San Siro.
“FIGC scouts are constantly monitoring the young playmaker Gustavo Zabarelli (born 2009) for Italian citizenship for the little gem of Sao Paulo FC, considered the new Kakà and holder of dual passports. He is liked by Barça, Inter, and AC Milan,” he said.
The 17-year-old plays as an attacking midfielder and is widely regarded as one of the best young talents in Brazilian football. Not much information is available on him from a statistical point of view, but it once again demonstrated how active Milan’s scouts are in all markets.

We have seen this “new kaka” before, like gourcuff, hauge, CDK, paqueta, who else. But anyway we hope this will be the true new kaka.
Who else ? Riccardo Saponara was actually touted as the new Kaka when he joined us from Empoli in Serie B. Didn’t go well though.
