Parallels have been drawn between Inter and AC Milan and their battles to keep Milan Skriniar and Rafael Leao at their clubs respectively.
As has been reported by Il Giornale, the two Milan sides have something very big in common over the next week or so as they enter crucial contract talks.
Two players that have come to play key roles in recent matches between the two sides, Skriniar for Inter and Leao for Milan, could both leave Serie A in the near future.
Both clubs are trying all they can to convince the players to stay in Italy and sign new contracts but it is tough to do battle with teams in the Premier League or La Liga.
In terms of Leao, Milan are currently ready to offer him a contract with a salary of €5/5.5 million which would make him the highest-paid player in the squad.
He knows he can be paid more elsewhere and there is also the matter of the fine he is ordered to pay Sporting in relation to his departure from the Portuguese side.
