AC Milan were investigated by the Guardia di Finanza about potential financial irregularities along with other clubs, a report claims.
Today’s edition of il Corriere della Sera (via MilanLive) has reported that there were also checks carried out at Casa Milan as part of the widespread searches ongoing to clamp down on any capital gains and Financial Fair Play irregularities.
Inter were looked into and the Prosecutor has already opened an investigation against unknown persons, requesting documentation on all the capital gains made by Inter between 2017 and 2019. There are suspicions on as many as a dozen transactions carried out on the players.
It goes back to 9 December when the Fiamme Gialle (sports section of the Italian police) sent a complaint to the Prosecutor’s Office, in which doubts emerged about some operations carried out by the Nerazzurri.
Checks were also carried out on AC Milan but there was nothing found that was noteworthy in the transactions that the Rossoneri carried out in the relevant period.
