Report: Milan and Inter offered chance to sign Juventus winger – why they are not keen

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Inter have been offered the chance to sign Juventus winger Federico Bernardeschi who is set to leave this summer, it is claimed.

Bernardeschi made a big-money move to the Bianconeri from Fiorentina but has never truly hit the heights expected of him and has now been reduced to playing a bit-part role, with his contract to expire at the end of the season and no signs currently of a renewal.

Journalist Nico Schira is reporting that the Italy international was offered in recent weeks to both Inter and Milan, but the response was not particularly positive by virtue of his high demands. The winger wants a salary of €4.5m net per season plus bonuses, which is frankly too high for a player with two league goals since the start of 2019-20.

Back in December, Juventus offered him a renewal worth €3m net per season plus bonuses but clearly the 28-year-old thinks he can get better elsewhere on the market.

  1. Where did he think he’ll get more than that €3m, he’s agent must be crazy,,,
With the way he is playing for rube, he isn’t even worth €2m a year

  2. should offer him a deal, a low deal with high reward.

maybe 2.5m with autorenewal to 3.5m with double assist or something.

that way he can prove his worth to the club
