AC Milan and Inter are in discussions with the Milan City Council regarding how much they will have to pay for San Siro and the surrounding areas.

More negotiations
The Milan edition of La Repubblica (via MilanNews) ran a front-page headline this morning which reads as follows: “San Siro, price negotiations. Dialogue with the Court of Auditors.”
The issue of the sale of San Siro to Milan and Inter continues to dominate the Milanese political landscape. The newspaper reports that informal contact has taken place between the City Council and the accounting judges, who have held a preliminary discussion regarding the transaction.
The Council are still seeking a full agreement with Inter and Milan, and therefore the signing could be delayed. Nothing should be left to chance in the San Siro deal because the sale must be handled with the utmost care.
The City Council vote could also be a few days beyond the September 30th deadline set by the mayor and the two Milanese clubs. In the meantime, the November deadline of the second tier restriction gets closer and closer.
I agree we need to negotiate. The stadium should be sold for 1 Euro, and then enjoy the show. The city makes tons of money by just having these gigant, let alone ask for money. They are willing to invest over a billion to build their new venue, which willl bring a lot more in process not to mention the work it crates for the city. Am I missing something, many good cities would kill to have this opportunity, they would even provide tax breaks but now, we are never happy and want something more and more and more.
