AC Milan still have an interest in signing Rodrigo De Paul and are weighing up a bid ahead of the summer, according to a report.
According to a report from InterLive, De Paul could be allowed to leave Atletico Madrid in June and Inter are keen on him, with director Piero Ausilio always having been an admirer of the Argentine midfielder.
However, in the event of qualifying for the next Champions League, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara could go for De Paul, who is held in high regard by head coach Stefano Pioli and appreciated by the management.
De Paul knows Serie A, has experience, talent and can play in various positions. Atletico Madrid could also permit a loan with option or obligation to buy for €30m, which wouldn’t be an issue for the Rossoneri, but only on condition that the team achieves a place in the Champions League this season.
There are three or four Premier League teams also keen such as Everton, Aston Villa, Brentford and Spurs, but a return to Serie A is not excluded.
Inter also tried for him in January, hoping for a dry loan, now Milan could try a lunge at the end of the season while Juventus and Roma are also keen.
Let’s start with the “too old, too slow, not ready”-comments. I’ll go first. 🙂
Oh I forgot an important one: “Injuryprone”. 😀 😀 😀
We could make way better use of him than what Simeone has, restore him to a more attacking role as with Udinese, if Brahim leaves play him as our 10.
No, they couldn’t and won’t. He’s average.
He started and won a World Cup final…. How can you say he was average?
Clearly you’re being sarcastic.
