AC Milan face competition from city rivals Inter and previous Champions League rivals Spurs to sign Noah Okafor, according to a report.
According to the Salzburger Nachrichten (via MSN), Okafor is expected to leave Red Bull Salzburg before next season and Tottenham are expected to make an offer for Okafor in the summer, who is valued at €22m.
However, the Austrian source also states that Inter and Milan are also readying moves for the 22-year-old forward, who is out of contract in June 2024 which means he would enter the summer with less than a year on his deal.
Okafor is ‘highly likely’ to leave Salzburg having attracted interest from some top clubs with 10 goals from 30 appearances in all competitions to his name. During his entire time with the Austrian club, he has scored 34 goals from 108 appearances.
The Swiss international is able to play on the left, as a second striker or as a ‘false nine’ type player, which means he could fit a number of roles in Milan’s attack.
