L’Arena: Milan remain interested in €20m-rated Hellas Verona star

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are in the market for a new attacking midfielder because Yacine Adli might not be enough, according to a report.

According to what is being reported by L’Arena (via MilanLive), the Rossoneri management remain interested in Antonin Barak who is having another impressive year with Hellas Verona given he has 10 goals and 4 assists in 26 league games.

The Venetian club are willing to evaluate any offers that come in with an asking price of €20m set for the moment, given the competition from Premier League clubs. The Czech playmaker grew under Ivan Juric last season and with Igor Tudor he has added even more decisive play to his game.

It is not the first time that the Verona-based paper have linked Milan with Barak, and the 27-year-old could well be a profile that would help shore up the attacking midfielder role given Brahim Diaz’s struggles and the doubts over the continuation of his loan spell.
