GdS: Investcorp have €300m ready to improve Milan’s squad – the names from Nkunku to Haller

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are hoping to strengthen their squad in the summer and the money from Investcorp has the management dreaming big, a report claims.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), there is a budget of €300m ready from the Bahrain-based fund to raise the level of the team, because the change in owners means the market strategies will also change, thus opening up even more expensive options.

The meeting with Sassuolo for Scamacca and Traorè could be postponed because the likes of Sebastien Haller of Ajax and Christopher Nkunku of RB Leipzig are in the sights. Then, Nicolò Zaniolo of Roma and Aurélien Tchouaméni of Monaco are in the viewfinder.

Despite an apparently strange silence in recent weeks, the Sven Botman and Divock Origi operations are not in question and therefore the Dutch defender and the Belgian striker should arrive as planned, given the obvious technical quality that they offer.

  1. This is all the fantasy news, let them finished the takeover deal first. As we all knows the new owners would sit with the management and discuss the club new market’s strategies before they comes out with the players possition’s and names that would be addressed.

  2. I think if Investcorp buy AC Milan, there will be no big changes in the already scouted players for future improvements of the squad, only extra ones. But with bigger bag of money with which Maldini and Massara will be able to have they will have the opportunity to buy the needed players with easier touch such as Scamacca, Berardi, de Kateleare, Vojvoda, Bernabе and etc.

  3. Don’t get so hype with this rumour. Last time when Chinese new owner come , it is like this too. Better wait and see if investcorp serious to buy AC Milan in may. Last year the rumour arnault but just disappear like wind

    1. Arnault never said it. Investcorp guy himself wished us separately. i think it’s different this time but we should wait till the deal is 100% done

      1. Yeah better wait till they are 100 percent take over AC Milan and see what their planning in summer transfer market. AC Milan once spend 220m euro buy 11 player in Yong Hong Li time but the result 0 trophy ( finish outside top 4 serie A) but AC Milan debt greatly increase. I don’t expect or hype investcorp Will spend 300m euro in summer but i hope they can build AC Milan own stadium separate from inter, let inter stay in san Siro forever

  4. Here we go
This is what we’ll see in the few next weeks
The purchase is not confirmed yet, and they already are making a new PSG from us.
Can’t say it doesn’t make me f*cking shaking from happiness to see these names in our team (maybe not Haller) but let’s wait for it to be official. And the most important – let’s wait to see that Maldini and Massare will continue in their jobs

  5. So, what about now with FFP? New owner can spend as much as he wants, and for them FFP does not apply, because they are…?

        1. I think priest not wrong, the rules 70% revenue works only if we using the money from club. Not the money from the owner itself. It’s a different thing. That’s why club like psg not even bother FFP

          1. No . Priest is wrong.
You can use the money of the owner.
That is why some big club are investigared right now because they spend the money looks like frok other companyvl as sponsor, but actuallybis come from the owner.
The owner give the money to the sponsors.

So thar is tricky waym. But broke thw FPP rule.

  6. I would love to see this transaction go through. I personally think that if this news if it’s true should have been announced at the end of the season. This is not healthy for the team to think, who’s staying and who’s leaving. Our team should only focus to the scudeto race.

  7. You can not use owners money. Club operate separate from owner walet. PSG, MC, Real… Can spend hundreds of millions, because they make hundreds of millions in revenue. Anyway…

    1. Yeah you are right. After re-read again the rules. It’s said the owner can pump their money only to infrastructure things. Not for buying players..
Man, this is so hard for italy club. Especially the revenue compare to EPL is a joke. FIGC doing nothing

  8. The idea of Tchoumeni 100% better than the idea of Sanchez. Nunez and scamacca idea better than Origi idea. All is money matters

  9. Up until a day ago no one in Italy knew anything about the negotiations for the sale of the club, but now Gazzetta knows how much the new owners will spend in the Market and even knows the name of the players. This is silliness

  10. Let’s wait for the sale to go through first…but sounds exciting. The players mentioned Tchouaméni, Nkunku, Nunez – would be amazing to go along with Origi and Botman….but let’s see. Trust in Maldini and Massara and we will be fine.
