The game against Inter next Saturday could very well end up being the last derby for Zlatan Ibrahimovic as AC Milan began to play for life without him.
As the months pass, Ibrahimovic is beginning to realise that even he cannot cheat age and the injuries are beginning to rack up, so La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reports that Milan are already looking to the summer transfer market given that Olivier Giroud will be 36 later this year and Marko Lazetic is too inexperienced.
The situation will become more clear in the coming weeks and will involve a discussion with Ibra himself on what he considers the best thing for him and for the club, with Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara beginning to think of who could come in to reinforce the attack.
The three names that currently stick out as being admired by Milan are Noa Lang of Brugge, Jonathan David of Lille (and Alexander Isak of Real Sociedad, the latter being a compatriot of Ibrahimovic.

Signing Isak would be great! The boy is a true talent with a bright future.
sign Isak period 👌
I don’t see how would Lang replace Ibrahimović, he is more of a winger than a real striker. Isak could.
Jonathan David is also great, keeps scoring like crazy but Isak is better for this system.
None of these names inspire me TBH. I’m under the impression that Belotti is not being considered, but maybe the should take a flier on him (because he’s free) and then allow him and Giroud to be the main strikers for the next season or two because one of Colombo, Lazetic or Nasti might be ready in that time. Spend the money on a CB and an AMC this summer, two positions which are harder to find true talent in (i.e. there is always another striker and there are too many average CBs).
Players average goals (senior team)
Isak 0.395
David 0.463
Belotti 0.389
Lang 0.387
Lang is not first striker, he’s LW
Isak and David are both young, but Belotti is experienced in a difficult league like Serie-A
