Alex Jimenez is a man in demand with enquiries coming from clubs in Italy and abroad. Now, AC Milan must decide how best to manage his immediate future.
Jimenez caught the eye two days ago as he was was among the best – if not the best, as La Gazzetta dello Sport said – on the pitch for Milan in their draw with Genoa. He combined well with Rafael Leao, went into every challenge with tenacity, got forward with his pace and made smart movements.
According to Matteo Moretto of Relevo, in the last two weeks Monza have made a ‘concrete move’ to try and get Jimenez on a six-month loan from their Lombardy neighbours. That is in addition to Valencia asking for him too, as was reported late last month.
Contacts between the parties ‘are constant and well underway’ as per the journalist, but the display he put in on Sunday against Genoa ‘should now make the Rossoneri reflect’, who will have to make a definitive decision on his future.
Jiménez has shown that he is a player that is ‘absolutely ready for the first team’ and Fonseca is evaluating whether to field him as a starter against Hellas Verona on Friday too, potentially meaning Theo is benched again.
Play him on the right and bench emerson, problem solved
100 % agree.
Theo will find his form sooner or later. Jimenez on the right is an upgrade. He is right footed as well.
This. So fng obvious that even Fonseca should realize it.
Btw. Guess who’s the only Milan player in Serie A’s worst 20 players (based on their average match rates/reviews). I’ll give you a hint: He was the top purchase of the summer. Some delusional people claimed he was an upgrade over Calabria. 🙂
Why are contacts ‘ constant and well underway’ – Just say we are not interested! The problem is, the rest of the world knows that all of our players are available for a price….
Milan is dead as a team and organisation and at the same level as Tottenham hotspur in Premier league.
yeah you should go glory hunt in Saudi then
Prodat če ga za 5 miliona a dogodine če vrijedit preko 20miliona !! To je scenarij naše usrane uprave
Milan bought him for 4 mil this summer but Real Madrid has a buyback clause in the summer of 2025 set at 7 or 9 mil and then in 2026 at 12 mil.
Yes Real tend to protect their investments – we should pull a leaf out of their book and protect ours too..
Absolutely and I couldn’t agree more.
He would be amazing as a winger, that is what the coach needs to realise
just keep him. not another kerkez please…
My questions are: 1 Is he fast enough and 2 can he put in a good cross.
Clearly you didn’t watch the match on Sunday.
