AC Milan and Juventus will do battle on the field today as they face each other in the Supercoppa Italiana semi-finals, but they are also in competition for a striker too.

This morning’s edition of Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews) reports that both Milan and Juventus are in fact interested in signing Randal Kolo Muani, who currently plays for Paris Saint-Germain and the French national team.

The problem at the moment is that he actually isn’t playing, because PSG boss Luis Enrique does not seem to consider him to be a big part of his plans, which has seemingly opened the door to the idea of a January exit.

At the moment, the Parisians are wanting €60m in order to let Kolo Muani leave on a permanent deal, an amount would be off limits for both the Bianconeri and the Rossoneri. In the coming weeks, if no other offers were to arrive, PSG could open up to a loan formula.

The problem is though that the former FC Nantes star is also wanted by Bayern Munich, Tottenham and RB Leipzig so there is some strong competition. Speaking of Nantes, one curiosity is that Sergio Conceicao coached him at the French side, where he was before he went to Porto.

  1. If he’s actually wanted by EPL sides (spurs / man united make sense they’re struggling at present) then we can forget about even a loan deal, as the EPL money will mean they pay a large loan fee and 100% of his big salary.

But while most of the forum is negative on him, I think as a loan deal is low risk, he’s link forward that could create a lot of chances for Leao/Pulisic/Reijnders and would be a better alternative to Morata than what we have currently (Tammy / Jovic/Camarda)

    Forza Milan
