The summer mercato is much closer than it may seem, and AC Milan are already ironing out their shortlist for Massimiliano Allegri.
Whilst the January mercato only closed recently, the summer is only a few months away, so plans need to be formed, studied and perfected. There is still time, and Milan are getting the work done early.

Given RedBird’s focus on young talents too, it is sometimes better to get deals done as early as possible to ensure that they can think of the future with them, rather than risk losing them in the summer.
So, that is why the Rossoneri are already making considerations about one rising star.
Scouting already
As Gazzetta dello Sport writes, Kerim Alajbegovic is an 18-year-old turning heads in Europe. Both-footed, a mazy dribbler and a player, ultimately, with a lot of potential, he has already been compared to Kenan Yildiz and Florian Wirtz.
Last summer, he headed to RB Salzburg for €2 million, and he is already worth 10 times that, with initial valuations being made around the €15-20m mark.
Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen – who have a buyback clause in the deal – are interested, but his talent has also reached the north of Italy, where Juventus and Milan are keen. Indeed, scouting across Europe has begun.
he is really good and his stats look ok, but he’s quite selfish, and you can sometimes even see that his teammates are not happy with this. he’s really cool to watch, but not someone you want if you’re about collecting points. lacking mentality and straight forward play. i can even imagine that he’d have good stats also at Milan, but definitely at the cost of team spirit and team success. not something Allegri would been keen on.
Italian young players already have talent like others. The difference, it’s there no chance to step up on big stage and the coaches not really believe with their own talents…
