CorSera: Milan or Juventus could offer Kessie an escape back to Italy amid Barcelona chaos

By Oliver Fisher -

After news emerged yesterday suggesting Franck Kessie could leave Barcelona on a free transfer, the first rumours have emerged regarding a potential return to AC Milan.

As has been reported by ESPN, Barcelona could fail to register their new signings due to their financial situation and the rules in place in Spain regarding player registration.

The Catalan side are set to play against Rayo Vallecano in their first league game of the season on Saturday and it is now reported that if Kessie and Andreas Christensen are not registered before that game, they can exercise a clause in their contracts to leave for free.

According to what is being reported by Corriere della Sera (via SempreMilan.it), there could be sensational developments regarding the future of the Ivorian, who can leave Barca on a free transfer the day after tomorrow.

The paper speculated what the possible developments could be if Kessié were to decide to free himself from Barcelona. Juventus are looking for a midfielder and may turn to him if they cannot get Leonardo Paredes of PSG, while the failure to sign Renato Sanches could hypothetically push Milan to evaluate Kessie’s return.

  1. He’ll stay until they can register which they will eventually do. However, I would very much like to see a scarred Kessie return in Milan colours to show Barca what they missed out on

  2. I will just say if he wanted milan he would have stayed already…this will just be another blamage for milan when he refuses us again

    1. In all probability he will end up staying at Barca but if I was Maldini I would try to bring him back to Milan. There aren’t many midfielders like him around , such workrate and physical powers.

  3. He will lose commision 10m euro if he back to AC Milan , even if he choose leave barca , i think he will find another club that want give him big commission

  4. If he comes back we won’t be looking for a new defensive midfielder, that will make ac milan string and we will be a threat in champions league

  5. Kessie should have never left if we had an invested management. You can not offer kessie type of player 4.5m….those of you thinking he was asking for 8m, please don’t be deciveved, 4.5m with less commission was an offer I will not even allow kessie take as a fan…..we will all see how we will miss this guy

Now we are looking for any trash anywhere to replace him, the midfeild will be our worst nightmare this unless pobega improve over night
