AC Milan director Paolo Maldini is pondering how to fix the Franck Kessie situation and a sale in January cannot be ruled out, a report claims.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive), there is still a distance between what Milan have offered and what Kessie and his entourage are demanding. Paris Saint-Germain have a concrete interest in signing him and could make their move when the window reopens in January.
Milan’s solution to immediately replace Kessie in the event of a departure in January could actually be a player they already have control over in Yacine Adli. His signing was secured during the last summer window but he is on loan at Bordeaux until summer 2022.
The idea is to accelerate the arrival of Yacine Adli who they signed in a deal worth a total of €10m. Initially the Rossoneri wanted to bring the French talent to Milanello immediately, but as a compromise it was decided to leave him on loan until June.
Adli is currently impressing at Bordeaux and that is why Maldini and Massara may choose to bring his arrival forward, especially if they bid farewell to another important midfield piece.
