PM: Geo-political situation has Milan eyeing possible €15m deal for winger

AC Milan could go back in for a player they have been heavily linked with as they look to reinforce the wings, a report claims.

According to PianetaMilan, the Rossoneri would be expected to sign a new winger in the event that they sell Ante Rebić in the summer, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia of Rubin Kazan could very well fit the bill. He has already been followed with a lot of interest by Milan in the past 12 months, but the asking price of €30m+ meant a move was not viable.

Kvaratshkelia is under contract with the Russian club until 30 June 2024 but is currently on loan to the Georgian side Dinamo Batumi due to the ongoing situation between Russia and Ukraine. It is because of the geo-political situation that the 21-year-old could now move for €15m in the summer.

However, the talented Georgian – who has 2 goals and 5 assists in 22 games this season – is the number one target to replace Insigne.
