This summer, two names have prevailed in the striker race for AC Milan: Dusan Vlahovic and Rasmus Hojlund. Now, it is getting nervy.
Signing a striker will make or break the Milan mercato. A quality number nine arriving would solve so many problems that the club is facing, both in the manager’s eyes as well as those of the fans. However, there has been a delay in all the cases.

Any move for a forward would be done late; that has been the idea throughout the window. Though it is now getting towards the ‘late’ stage, and nothing is really clear. In fact, there is a chance that neither arrives.
Late moves
As Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) write, the Rossoneri will contact Manchester United to see how much chance there is of getting Holund this summer. They hope to close a deal quickly, but the Dane is being targeted by others now.
If this does not provide any positivity, the focus would return to Vlahovic. However, this is no easier to solve.

In fact, the report states that a ‘major mediation’ will be required with Juventus seeking €35 million for the Serbian. Furthermore, he must halve his salary to join. To put it differently, the club are relying on chance to sign Vlahovic.

only one of them can actually score…
Which one? 10 goals combined from open play last season….
10 > 4… and the 2nd half he didn’t even play that much
Just a thought – we could try and loan Isak for a year which will help him, Newcastle and Liverpool to transition a move in 2026. Be happier with him than these two donkeys…
Seriously ? can you explain why you even consider that a possibility ? don’t just bring up something up about his transfer is dragging out.
Well we need a striker; I don’t see either of the above as Milan players and he would give us 15-20 goals this season. This would give us time to evaluate Camarda’s performance at Lecce and mean we wouldn’t have to rush to bring in another ‘hit and hope’ striker.. or maybe we should just bring Origi back to the first team eh?
That isn’t really anything but a pipe dream then why do you think we can get him. While we are at it why not try for Haarland as he is also better than Højlund or Vlahovic. Isak will eventually end up in Liverpool this transfer window.
Maybe, but only if they come up with the money – Haaland isn’t on strike last time I looked…
Well, keep dreaming neither is joining us for any reasons at this point of time.
I’ve heard of this youth elixir and a guy called Van Basten. So if we can connect him to the elixir we are good.
Sure, seems just as likely to happen as we will get isak.
Actually, that’s not a bad idea! that works for everyone!
Let the man dream. hahaha Why would Isak consider us is beyond me, but hey, we can all dream right? ..Maybe Madrid can loan us Mbappe next. who knows.
😀 I dont wanna be a party pooper but we should also keep our expectations at a somewhat realistic level which the Isak idea clearly isn’t.
he’s Osimhen/ Lukaku of last season, players that impossible to reach even for loan by foolani law
If only we weren’t pushing for either of them…
Juve expect 35M for a player they don’t want who is costing them ~40M per season in transfer plus wages?!
That can’t be right. And, if it’s close to being correct, we shouldn’t be anywhere near that IMO, it would just be doing them a massive favour. They can have 35M for him if they pay 35M for Bennacer, fair deal?
Is origi finally departuring ???
Will be missed, together with Casino Royal😁
…I really wish we’d go for someone other than these 2
Yeah. Me too.
Why are there no other players in the market?
It’s just that I like that Camarda will get regular playing time in Lecce which prepares him for next season for us. If not, I preferred he had stayed.
