CorSport: Milan better Lazio’s offer as Romagnoli must make a call on his future

There continues to be a lot of speculation surrounding Alessio Romagnoli’s future and AC Milan have reportedly raised their offer to him.

According to what is being reported by il Corriere dello Sport (via SempreMilan.it), the Rossoneri seem to have the intention of putting forward a new offer to Romagnoli to try and find an agreement rather than to let him walk away on a free transfer.

The Milan management seem willing to offer €3.2m net per season to keep their captain, while Lazio have offered a contract worth €3m per year in total including bonuses, and now they will have to try to match the offer.

Of course a big part of the decision depends on Romagnoli and whether he wants to continue his seven-year spell at San Siro or try a new challenge where he could be a more integral part of the project with a greater chance of more consistent playing time.
