Sportitalia: Milan learn of Massara’s meeting with Juventus – the reaction

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan sporting director Ricky Massara met with Juventus last week to discuss the possibility of a role with them, according to a report.

According to what was stated by Sportitalia (via SempreMilan.it), Massara met with the Juventus management last week because the Bianconeri are in search of the right profile to take charge of future transfer windows as they restructure the management following the corporate turmoil earlier this season.

As per the report, the interest in Massara is clear from many and is strongly advocated by the Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri, a former team-mate of the current Rossoneri sporting director during their time at Pescara.

The report states that Maldini and the Milan ownership learned of the meeting and did not particularly appreciate the news. However, it does not seem that the talks to have led to anything concrete for the future, at least for the time being.

  1. Someone interested in hiring you, you always hear the offer. Even if you have no intentions it opens other doors. Don’t blame him

  2. Massara born in turin and it is normal if he accept that offer. If he leave better promote moncada replace him or hiring boban back

  3. Look at the perspective of Massara. Dude has so many ideas and is restricted within budget + Salaries. He can demonstrate not even 50% of his abilities to build a team. Milan is not sustainable, we are poor :))
