TMW: Milan and Lecce plot move for young Croatian goalscorer

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan and Lecce are both closely monitoring Croatian youngster Frano Vlasic who has been in superb form in recent months, a report claims.

As has been reported by TMW (via Milan News), the 16-year-old forward has been having a fantastic season with NK Sesvete.

He played fifteen matches in the Under-17 championship and scored fourteen goals. He is being evaluated closely by both Serie A clubs although a move is unlikely to be made in this window.

Milan have become very good at signing young strikers who can be brought into the Primavera setup but the player may decide that there is a better path to the first team at a club like Lecce.

With Darko Lazetic seemingly growing out of the Primavera squad in the near future, there could be an opening for someone else to try and be the main striker for Ignazio Abate’s side in the future.
