AC Milan continue to be linked with a number of free transfer opportunities and Youri Tielemans is the latest name to be mentioned.
According to a report from MilanLive, Tielemans is the one of the players who is considered as a potential midfield target. The 26-year-old’s contract is about to expire with Leicester City, who are close to relegation to Championship meaning he is virtually certain to not renew.
There has been a lot of talk about a potential transfer to Arsenal and recently the interest of Roma has also emerged, but Milan believe that he could bring something different to their midfield, especially after Ismael Bennacer’s injury.
Chief scout Geoffrey Moncada has known him since his days at Monaco , where the Belgian had failed to shine after arriving from Anderlecht. Things went better at Leicester, even if this season the team have deeply disappointed.
There is no shortage of suitors Tielemans, who has not yet decided which club he will join. Of course the salary offered will play a big part, which is where Premier League suitors might have the advantage.
