AC Milan have begun inquiring about Robert Lewandowski’s situation at Barcelona, another report has confirmed.
Luca Cohen reported on Tuesday that Milan’s sporting director Igle Tare has met in recent days with Lewandowski’s agent, Pini Zahavi, to discuss whether there might be the possibility to bring him to Serie A.

Milan emerge as ‘an option’
Now, SPORT have given their take on things. They begin by outlining that Lewandowski signed a three-year contract with Barçelona in 2023, plus the option for another year (until 2027) and is waiting to make a decision on his future in the final year.
The striker is convinced he can continue at the top level in European football at least next season, although he’s open to all possibilities. In any case, the Pole is ‘very happy at Barça’ and in Barcelona, and he’s also happy to stay for another year if his performance levels remain high.
Lewandowski is in no rush, and everything will be decided at the end of the season, depending on how this season has gone. Sources in Poland reported this summer that he received very significant offers from Saudi Arabia, tripling his salary at Barcelona, but he ‘wanted to stay and fight for major titles’.
That being said, they also claimed that the former Bayern Munich man wouldn’t rule out any possibility of joining after 2026, depending on the offers on the table. Lewandowski’s roadmap is clear: he is prioritising Barça, and hopes they want to keep him.
If not, he’ll listen to offers on the market, both in Europe and elsewhere. There are likely Arab clubs willing to pay huge money, but Milan have ’emerged as an option’ should he wish to remain in Europe competing at the highest level.

He is cocky? How? He just matched Neymar’s scoring record at 37 and needed much less games. Wages are also achievable as tax is high in Spain and it work works out 12-14 next a season and Vlahovic gets that on the bench.
This will be fantastic ! He is in a flawless physical form even at this age. Clinical striker, winner mentality. He can do it for 3 seasons at high level with no problem. He can score 70-75 goals for Milan in 3 seasons absolutely. Man…what a move can be for us his arrival…
They should do whatever they can to sign him in the summer.
The real number 9 we dreamt of ten years ago it was imposibble to sign him. Now can we sign Thiago Silva back. He’s still a good defender and can play couple years to come. We need good depth on defender right.

The problem is that neither of them is No 9 and he wouldn’t take more time off them than Gimenez does.

Don’t need him didn’t like him at Barca. Yes he scored a lot but because the rest of the team is so good. He missed so many chances
Better scoring ratio and same goals in less games than Neymar…Also, Milan plays 3-5-2 like 10yrs ago. One attacker to run and pass and one to score and we missing that one that scores.
