Sky: Milan lining up three contract renewals to avoid future repeat of Kessie situation

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are working on three contract renewals to avoid a potential repeat of the Franck Kessie situation down the line, a report claims.

According to Manuele Baiocchini of Sky (via MilanNews) the management are scheduling several appointments with the agents of some players who they aim to renew shortly. One of these is Ismael Bennacer, with whom the Rossoneri are very close to a renewal until 2026.

Another player that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara want to tie down is Rafael Leao, and talks are going on to seek a definitive agreement. Leao will renew his contract with Milan and they are trying to file the last details before being able to make the official announcement.

Then Milan also want to renew defender Pierre Kalulu, to reward him for the season he has had so far and is currently having. His salary will be adjusted upwards and his deal extended until 2026, according to what the journalist is reporting.
