AC Milan are weighing up a potential move to try sign Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker next summer, a report claims.
Milan have been left with the difficult situation of having Mike Maignan on an expiring contract, which means that they will need to find a new number one goalkeeper for the 2026-27 season and beyond, at least as things stand.

Audacious Alisson move eyed
According to Sky Switzerland, Milan are preparing for a ‘scorching summer’. With Maignan set to leave San Siro at the end of the season, the Rossoneri have already identified his ideal successor, and it is not an unknown player.
In fact, the Diavolo have set their sights on Alisson Becker, Liverpool’s star goalkeeper. Milan have already made contact with the Brazilian’s representatives, demonstrating a clear desire to move quickly on the matter, and the timing could be perfect.

Liverpool are open to a sale next summer, despite Alisson’s importance to the squad. His contract – which runs until June 2027 – and his age (33) also guarantee that the deal will be completed at a reasonable price.
The potential arrival of Alisson would represent a huge coup for Milan, who are looking for a world-class goalkeeper to turn the page on Maignan and secure their last line of defence for years to come. He would also bring some leadership too, which would be needed if the captain leaves.
The transfer window hasn’t even started yet, but Milan want to get ahead of the game and ‘make a big splash right away’, the report from Sacha Tavolieri concludes.

Yes, they want to sell him because he is injured every season. He has missed 2+ months per season for the past 3. We are not even halfway this season and he already had 2 injuries, and same ones that are bothering him all the time. What does that say? They don’t need an unreliable goalkeeper you have to have a great backup for. They had to buy Mamardashvili just to be able to keep Alisson. Who will Milan buy to play when he is injured?
and Mike is never injured at all right?
The price will not be “reasonable” for Italian sides I assure you 🤣 Even with his age, contract situation and injury record, we would not consider offers of less than £25m
Thankfully, but there is still a chance that Tare might go for it, he is the king of overpaying.
I guess the thought of trying to keep one of the world’s best gk is too far away from any kind of reality. Better get someone completely new…
They f**ked up with Mikes contract and I think they should kneel in the dust to fix that.
mike is way better
Top goalkeeper, knows the league, looked good vs Inter yesterday but he is always out injured for something.
Weasel Furlani for common sense’s sake pay Mike the 8M, he’s tried & tested, is a leader (uhm uhm captain!!!) in the locker room, has Rossoneri DNA, and has almost single-handedly rescued Milan from multiple defeats this season alone! With all their degrees n stuff, when will the clown management actually learn???
Rossonerri DNA? Can you imagine Maldini do 8 million salary demand over 5 million cap? He might be a world class player, but boy, he is just a regular guy in that department, dude
