Belgian journalist claims Milan want Liverpool striker and €40m Club Brugge star

AC Milan are targeting two Belgian forwards in a bid to refresh their attack ahead of next season, according to one journalist.

According to what Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri told Calciomercato.it, Milan are going strongly for Divock Origi of Liverpool on a free transfer, but there is a lot of interest from many European teams, even in Italy.

A decision has not been made yet and nothing is completed, because the player has a desire to wait see if there is the possibility of a renewal at the last minute, but it is true that Milan are among the teams that are very interested in him.

Jurgen Klopp also hasn’t made a call on Origi yet because he does not know how his forward group will look going into the summer given that Mo Salah’s future is at stake as well as that of Sadio Mane.

He also adds that Charles De Ketelaere of Club Brugge is a target and is considered the ‘perfect profile’, but the Belgian side are asking for €40m to sell the versatile 20-year-old forward, with Napoli, Leicester and Newcastle also keen.
