AC Milan can breathe a sigh of relief as their injury situation looks set to improve considerably after Sunday’s game against Hellas Verona, a report claims.
Today’s edition of Tuttosport (via PianetaMilan) takes a look at Milan’s treatment room starting with Mike Maignan, who has in fact recovered from the calf issue he sustained during international duty for France and is just waiting for green light from the medical team to return to training with his team-mates.

He has been out since September 22 so there will be no rushing in order to reduce the risk of re-aggravating the issue, while Ciprian Tatarusanu continues to do a job as a back-up, and as such the aim is to have the No.16 back for Milan-Monza on 22 October.
Charles De Ketelaere should also return for that game after he missed Milan-Chelsea due to a muscle strain, while Simon Kjaer is aiming for the Champions League away match against Dinamo Zagreb in which Fikayo Tomori will be unavailable after being sent off against Chelsea.

If Milan make the next round of champions league, they could use the money to meet Leao’s demands. If not, then they might be better off selling him and exploring their options in the January mercato.
