Matteo Moretto has claimed that AC Milan will make the necessary calls regarding their management by the weekend.
The news of today is that there are several sources claiming Milan have moved forward in talks with Glasner and that he is the ‘chosen one’ for the role of replacing Massimiliano Allegri regardless of whether Ralf Rangnick arrives.

In an ideal world though Rangnick would join the club too, at least in Gerry Cardinale’s eyes. He wants someone to overhaul the vision and philosophy at the club, but must hand over full powers in order to get the German on board.
Moretto: Decisions by Friday
In his daily update on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel (via MilanVibes), Moretto delved into the hottest topics surrounding Milan’s future. He focused in particular on the rumours surrounding the new head coach and sporting director.
“As for Milan, the situation is delicate. Right now, several pieces of the puzzle need to fall into place to rebuild the entire sporting and management structure. Discussions are underway with various coaches, including Glasner, Jaissle, and others,” he said.
“Rangnick is the leading name for the directorship, but there’s no firm news yet. I believe Milan will make some decisions by Friday, at least regarding narrowing down the wide range of names being linked. In any case, it will be a crucial week for the Rossoneri in several respects.”
