AC Milan sporting director Frederic Massara is set to pay special attention to the match between Mexico and Poland at the 2022 Qatar World Cup on Tuesday, a report claims.
As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, there are two players that Massara is watching closely ahead of possible attempts to sign them.
One is Poland’s Jakub Kiwior who Milan have been linked with for some time and are battling Atletico Madrid for. The Spezia defender is set to play in his first World Cup match and Massara is keen to see how he will cope with the situation.
The other player that is being observed is Mexico’s Edson Alvarez who is a more established figure than Kiwior. He is a defensive midfielder who has been known to play in the defence for Ajax.
He would likely cost around €30 million so it will be a big commitment but he has a chance to impress Massara.
