GdS: Milan to meet Sassuolo over €30m forward with Locatelli-style formula in mind

AC Milan are plotting their moves to be more competitive next season and their number one target for the right wing has been established, a report claims.

IMMINENT SUMMIT – As reported this morning by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), a meeting between Milan and Sassuolo is now imminent to talk about Domenico Berardi, a right winger who is valued at €30m+ given that he is having another excellent season.

The Rossoneri though do not want to pay the current asking price of Sassuolo’s CEO Carnevali and for this reason they are studying a particular formula similar to the one used a year ago by Juventus to sign Manuel Locatelli always from Sassuolo, which starts with a loan of sorts and which includes a series of bonuses.

Both the coaching staff and management like Berardi and for some time he has been in the crosshairs of the Rossoneri, but the price tag has meant other targets like Noa Lang and Charles De Ketelaere of Club Brugge have been kept alive too.

Berardi is at the top of Maldini and Massara’s list, and with 14 goals and 10 assists in Serie A this season he would almost certainly guarantee an upgrade in quality on the right side.
