CM: Milan to meet with Sanches’ agent in the coming hours

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan are set to meet with Renato Sanches’ agent Jorge Mendes in the next few hours to continue discussing the transfer, a report claims.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.com today, Milan technical director Paolo Maldini and sporting director Frederic Massara want to try and secure the transfer of the Portuguese midfielder within the next 7-10 days.

They have got the name of the player circled in red and he is the first-choice target to bolster the midfield.

New discussions with Mendes are currently scheduled for the next few hours to try and persuade the player to give up on Paris Saint Germain and sign for the Rossoneri.

The player and everyone else involved knows that Milan cannot offer the same level of money that the French champions can for the Lille star when it comes to wages, but Milan are the only team with a deal in place with Lille for the transfer.

  1. I really hope the guy will sign..He is a very good player. We will really enjoy him whenever he is fully fit…

  2. Well we should at least offer the most we can offer (4.5M) to help secure him. That would help. However If he doesn’t want to come for 4.5M then look to someone else. I don’t think we should break the wage ceiling/cap for Sanches at this point. But hard to get this kind of a starting Calibre player who is in his prime for 4.5/season and for only 15M total transfer fee. Some may not think Sanches is worth 4.5M/season – that’s fine. But tell me who can we sign at this stage in the market for that fee and salary with the experience dynamism and resale value (he’s only 24) like Sanches? The English kid Carney would be nice addition for the future and hope we get him but he is still only 18 yrs old (and Is even more expensive than Sanches @ 20M) and can’t expect too much at this early stage of his career. Seems M&M love Sanches and are willing to wait it out. Have to have faith in them they are making right move

    1. That kid from aston villa wont come i think, most likely AC Milan wait till he free next year. The other cheap option are loan ndombele from spurs or buy fofana ( ex udinese player) . Renato heart on PSG ,AC Milan just his stepping stone

      1. Nope brother, San hez have always wanted to come to Milan, do you think he is stupid enough to go to where getting into first team football might be harder than it will be in Milan…..Milan is offering the dude 3.2m, how on earth do you offer San hez 3.2m, PSG offered 4.5m so do the math…..these players are people and in as much as they want to play, they still need to look out for their future so I believe Maldini is meeting Mendes to improve the salary

  3. I’m pretty sure PSG never wanted him. I never read anything from any PSG blogs/links. PSG never made a bid. Mendez is on all fours, begging PSG to take this injury prone ego filled sh*thead of a player and they aren’t even interested, no official bid is made.

Leonardo and Lille officials who are in PSG know renato better than us, they probably won’t touch this guy even with a stick. It was all some garb*ge tabloid news. Milan should lower the bid from 15 to 5 mil and with a salary of 2.5 mil. If he comes good. NO? Let him go. Simple. Personally, I think we should pull out of the contention for this player completely and get someone younger with more potential such as Tonali. As for Renato, here’s some facts.

    1. He’s not THAT Good. He never bossed midfield in ANY of the matches against good teams. Otherwise, Real would’ve gone for him instead of Tchouameni.
    2. He won’t play more than 10 games. Dude literally has glass legs.
    3. Bad track record in big teams = Too much ego problem in dressing room. Clearly he can’t adapt with better players than him.
    4. Shitty agent.

Negatives Faaar outweigh the very little positives he will bring in like 10 games he will be able to play with them glass legs before he gets injured. I don’t want him in Milan tho I know we need CDM. But He is bad news.

    Forza Milan.

  5. Some fans here are on drugs. We are able to get a player like Sanchez for 15m and we are here tarnishing the player.

Milan offered him 3.2m, what type of joke is that, Milan always disgracing themselves in this mercato with ridiculous prices. PSG offered him 4.5m, put yourself in his shoes.

Maldini meeting mendes to improve the salary because they already that we only have tonali and benaceer as double pivots, others are just mediocres that will cost us more matches than they play well.

Sanchez is a must buy, going to this season with bakayoko, krunic and pobega as backup will be the most stupidest decision and Maldini knows that…..hope we improve the salary offer because the dude is far better technically that all our midfeilders.

The only joke here is you.
