AC Milan are likely to use their relationship with Jorge Mendes heavily this summer, it seems, with several players lined up.
It is nothing new for agents to have relationships with certain clubs and with Milan, it is no different. Indeed, they have often looked at the clients of Mendes, the Portuguese super agent, and it seems like it will be the case again this summer.
Perhaps not exclusively, but there will be a few discussions about who he represents and their potential willingness to join the Rossoneri.
Mendes and Milan
As Quotidiano Sportivo reports, Ruben Amorim is keen to sign talents from Portugal, which opens the door for Mende to negotiate some deals. Indeed, most of the country’s top players are on his books and this can certainly be an aid.
The biggest name of interest is Goncalo Ramos, who is the ‘dream’ striker for Amorim. With a salary of €3 million, the deal could certainly be made. However, PSG will not likely let him go for cheap considering they spent €80m on him.
Pedro Goncalves, Francisco Trincao and Morten Hjulmand of Sporting are all on his books, too, as is Benfica defender Antonio Silva. The axis has been used previously, but it could now be used to build the new Diavolo.

No Pedro Goncalves, please. He’s too expensive for a substitute and too weak to be a starter, we have Nkunku there and we should get rid of him first before we turn to Pedro, that seems like too much unnecessary work. I realize that PG is more tehnically gifted and more creative but we don’t have the funds to finance all of that at once and right away, fans need to be patient. Porro? That name could do (I know it’s not the same position before you attack me); Malo Gusto LOL Maybe we can buy half of Gusto? I just read an article about him (in relation to this Palestra transfer) and that Milan track or should I say pure fantasy. The idea of Trincao’s arrival doesn’t particularly excite me either but at least he fits the profile for a starter
in a 3-4-2-1 unlike Goncalves who shouldn’t be a priority unless we decide to sell Pulisic (and even then there would be way much better solutions
at our disposal, not to mention the tactical issue regarding the fact that he’s primarily a winger in
a 3-4-3 or 4-3-3 or even 4-2-3-1, doesn’t matter),
let alone an obsession.
Kang-in Lee/Trincao (Chukwueze/Zaniolo)
Pulisic (Nkunku/Goncalves and one pure
winger just in case)
* I’ve just read
The least Cardinale can do is give maximum support to Amorim by either giving him the names he wants or similar profile players for the system he wants to employ. With all the rubbish ravaging the team, as an absolute minimum give support to the coach. I know we are notorious for stretching 1 euro as far as possible when it comes to the mercato, but with the gap widening between ourselves and the traditional top4 competitors at least give us a chance to compete.

Mendez and Raiola have made so much money out of Milan the club should list them as beneficiaries.
