Milan could see their option to purchase Junior Messias from Crotone shrink if they are relegated from Serie B, a report claims.
Messias joined Milan on loan with an option to buy on deadline day last summer and has been used as a squad player in his time so far.
Tuttosport (via MilanNews) report that Milan could be able to make Messias’ loan move permanent, at a price lower than the €5.4m plus bonuses originally agreed. This is due to Crotone’s situation in Serie B, that sees them threatened by the prospect of back-to-back relegations.
A reduced price could be on the table if Crotone are to go down once again, perhaps bending the Rossoneri’s ear in their decision on Messias.
The 30-year-old scored a winning goal away to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, but is said to be playing for his Milan future in the next two months.
