Brahim Diaz’s struggles this season plus the fact that Yacine Adli is very much a versatile player means that Milan are in the market for a new player who can play in the trident behind the centre-forward, and PianetaMilan report that one of the most interesting names from a Milan perspective is certainly that of Lingard.
The 29-year-old Manchester United forward will leave the Red Devils when his contract expires on June 30th, because they do not seem willing to propose a renewal at the moment.
The Rossoneri management are monitoring the situation, and they view the England international as a potentially important signing considering the undoubted qualities of the player, who shone on loan at West Ham last season.
Lingard meanwhile would be satisfied with a salary of around €4m net per season which could further simplify the operation. He was recently snapped alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic in Milano amid rumours he has been offered to Milan.
