CM: Milan not set to make move for young Portuguese striker

AC Milan are not set to make a move for young Portuguese striker Luis Semedo who has been linked in recent weeks, a report claims.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.com (via Pianeta Milan), the Rossoneri are not going to try and sign 19-year-old striker Semedo who has been performing well for Benfica B in recent weeks.

Olivier Giroud has been playing more games than is ideal considering his age and the club know that they need a new striker to try and lessen the burden on the Frenchman.

Semedo has been viewed by some as a possible cheaper option to add more depth but it seems that Milan directors Frederic Massara and Paolo Maldini are not convinced enough by him to make an offer.

Semedo has played eight games in Liga Sabseg and has scored twice. It is his UEFA Youth League performances that have really caught the eye, scoring four goals in four games.
