AC Milan’s injury problems have once again been disruptive to the current season continuing a trend from the previous couple of years, and it seems some action has been taken.
Milan’s season has been heavily conditioned by injuries with several players sustaining muscle problems, something that will keep Ismael Bennacer and Fikayo Tomori out of Sunday’s derby against Inter.
Precisely for this reason, our colleagues at SempreMilan.it report that the management have decided to run for cover by hiring Andreja Milutinovic for a few months now in the role of ‘Head of Performance’.
He will be a sort of athletic training expert who will help Pioli and his staff in the prevention and recovery of certain muscle problems. He used to work with Dusan Vlahovic, while today he is also assisting Marcelo Brozovic,.
Milutinovic has not yet been officially included in the Rossoneri organisational chart but it should soon be official, and he could be the real coup of an otherwise quiet January.
He is supposed to be good, but if Pioli doesn’t want to adapt, he wont be able to do much. Also Milanello training pitch needs a complete revamp.
And also, Pioli don’t think he’s ready. 😀
Pioli has little time at Milan it will end very bad for him and ACM
Pioli should look for another club now!
This actually better news than you’d expect. Seriously good news.
Too little, to late more needs to be done.
Now? This has been going on for 3 seasons now. About time.
