AC Milan and Napoli are interested in signing Jean Onana from Bordeaux but they face competition from LaLiga side Girona, a report claims.
According to a report from Le10sport, Girona have made an official offer for Onana who could leave Bordeaux this summer after their relegation to the second tier and with the corporate problems the club are facing.
Milan and Napoli hold an interest in the Cameroon international – who is under contract until 2026 and made 23 Ligue 1 appearances last season – but there is no bid from either Serie A side just yet.
The report mentions that the 22-year-old is on Milan and Napoli’s list of targets for the midfield but he is not considered a number one option for either side who are pursuing other names as a priority.
However, Fabián Ruiz’s possible move to PSG could unlock the funds for them to make a bid for Onana and to rival Girona.
