This summer, AC Milan must increase the numbers within their ranks. However, that is not all. Indeed, they must also get rid of a few players.
It is not going to be an easy summer for Milan – typical, really. They need to invest in depth and improve the squad, not just the starting XI. But, that would be too simple, as we know by now, it never is as simple as it seems.
So, sales will be made to level up both the starting XI and the team generally and eight players can leave the Rossoneri.
Eight can leave Milan
Today, Gazzetta dello Sport have looked at those who will be available on the market. The report starts, stating that the situation is paradoxical. With an already short squad, they must have a strong outgoing mercato, even with the Champions League money.
There are obvious cases for players to leave, including Pervis Estupinan, who never took off. Then, the loanee duo of Ismael Bennacer and Yunus Musah, both of whom will return in the summer to depart quickly, ideally.
Then, there are the question marks: Christopher Nkunku, Santiago Gimenez, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Youssouf Fofana. Each of them offers a different question, but if the right money arrives in the summer, it would be difficult not to say yes to them leaving.
Finally, you have the case of Rafael Leao. He can leave, but again, the money must be right for all parties, and that includes the squad itself. His exit cannot leave others wanting to join him, nor can it leave the Rossoneri trying to replace him with pennies.

Odogu, Estupinan, RLC, Leao and Santi plus Bennacer and Musah and possibly Bondo…
