If AC Milan do not reset this summer, they will be in big trouble, once again. It feels like one of the only constants, but again, it is unavoidable.
For another summer in a row – keeping track at this point is difficult – Milan are heading into it with a need to reset, even if this group manages to qualify for the Champions League at the end of the season.

Indeed, the loss to Atalanta further proved the holes within the squad and answers are needed.
Above answers, though, action is needed. As Gazzetta dello Sport writes, failing that would allow the Rossoneri to ‘make a fool of themselves’ in Europe next season.
Milan needing another reset… again
The report follows the latest wounding defeat and whilst everyone else is picking up, at least in terms of form, the Diavolo are only getting worse. They must beat Genoa and Cagliari to confirm a top-four place. Even then, would they deserve it? Probably not.
Only a few months ago, such questions would be laughed at. However, Milan are sat looking at one of the biggest bottles of recent years.
Looking at the current group, Gazzetta states that they would ‘tarnish’ the club’s reputation in Europe if nothing changed in the next few months. Indeed, a few players and Massimiliano Allegri are needed out, at least in their view.

Problem is, Max’s arrival alone wasn’t a fresh start. The team still revolved around underperforming players who weren’t capable of leading on the field before, not to mention the lack of true leaders in the locker room—without whom the team’s organic growth is impossible.
Yes, he got 2 first team players that are good (Rabiot and Modric) and then 160M was spent on bench players. If they bought who Allegri asked for this money and he failed it would 100% be his fault, all of it. This way, not really. The team still plays like bad but I Guardiola or a top manager like that would LEAVE THE CLUB after such a bad transfer window.
Look at you it was Allegri that demanded for those players incase you don’t know.
Yes, he got 2 first team players which were good and a bunch of useless transfers totalling 160M€ for the bench. This is Chelsea or City level, buying 160M€ worth of players that aren’t starting level, but then we spent like Spezia for the first team. If Allegri got the 3 players he asked (experienced striker, midfilder and defender) and failed it would be 100% on him, all of it. This way it’s a bit ridiculous to blame him only when Tare bought players that need years to adapt to become Milan starters or will never be. Fail fail fail. They both failed. Allegri, even if he had the worse team ever, shouldn’t allow to lose 3-0 against anyone. Irrelevant who it is in Serie A.
Why reset and get the same results. Buy players and don’t sell key players. Buy smart players with experience and others that bring sense of belonging.
Sell RLC, Fofana, Tomori, Estupiñán, Saelemaekers, Leao and Gimenez.
Send back Fullkrug.
Loan out Odugu and Athekame
With the those sales and the money from the players out on loan and hopefully CL money
Buy: Calafiori, Scalvini, Palestra, Udogie, Kayode, Kean, Vlahovic, B. Silva, Goretzka and Ederson.
Thats a.wish list to say the least.
I love Arsenal and no way they’d sell Calafiori. He’s their starting LB when fit.
I agree, we don’t need a reset we need to change direction.
I think we get max 100 million from those sales, most of them probably gonna end up on loan to buy deals where they will under perform and come back. Cuz we overrate most of our players
Acmilan are some how the cause of their problem and I also see them trying to same mistake again, acmilan should not sell Pavlovic at all either to man united or Chelsea. We sold tonali sold Jessie sold Hernandez now all this important players we sold are now hunting us and now we’re blaming management, furlani and Acmilan management let’s properly evaluate players that are performing and the ones that not performing the ones that aren’t performing should be sold out but player like Pavlovic should not be in transfer market at all.
