GdS: Milan to officially open negotiations over Scamacca – meeting with Sassuolo planned

AC Milan will meet with Sassuolo after the international break to discuss a deal for striker Gianluca Scamacca, according to a report.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Sassuolo know they have another prized asset on their hands and they are working to extend Scamacca’s contract until 2026, but he knows well that there are a list of clubs interested and he may choose to move on in the summer.

Milan are ready to officially open talks over the 23-year-old and after the international break, the Rossoneri management are planning a meeting with Sassuolo to talk about him and gauge what the asking price will be.

There have already been some talks between the two clubs in recent weeks, but this summit will help the Rossoneri to understand the real difference between what they can offer versus what the demand is.

Scamacca has already repeated several times that he does not want to play abroad and therefore the two Milanese teams (Inter included) are two absolutely concrete options for his future, but we must see what the meeting in two weeks brings.
