CM: Milan make new contact with Chelsea for Ziyech

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan made new contact with Chelsea yesterday for Hakim Ziyech after another setback in the pursuit of Charles De Ketelaere, a report claims.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, there are clear efforts from the Rossoneri to keep the negotiations for Hakim Ziyech alive.

Milan have grown disillusioned with Club Brugge and their pursuit for Belgian midfielder Charles De Ketelaere and that is why they are making movements towards other players to bolster the attack.

Milan contacted Chelsea on Friday to get an update on the situation of the Moroccan. The winger is not seen as a clear alternative to De Ketelaere, it is more that he would represent a strategic shift in Milan’s transfer window.

Milan would definitely like to take him on a season long loan and then have the option to make the deal permament for a fee of around €20 million. Chelsea want that to be an obligation to buy.

    1. I think they have contacted Chelsea for Ziyech BUT, I think they partly did it now to put pressure on Brugge now that Leeds may be moving on and so may be Milan

  1. At this point I really don’t care about the obligation to buy as Milan simply needs better players. Today’s match showed that once again.
