AC Milan have already met with the entourage of Tiemoue Bakayoko to discuss his future but there will be another meeting, a report claims.
Bakayoko’s return on a two-year loan from Chelsea last summer was greeted with great optimism by the fans who remembered his performances in the 2018-19 season under Gennaro Gattuso, but unfortunately he did not have a good campaign and seemingly didn’t earn the trust of head coach Stefano Pioli.
He managed just 607 minutes on the pitch and was basically frozen out for the second half of the season, which has led to suggestions that his loan deal may well end a year in advance of the agreed 2023 deadline.
According to MilanNews, there was a meeting between the Milan management and Bakayoko’s agent two or three games before the end of the season during which there was a discussion about his less than positive season.
A new meeting between the parties is expected to evaluate what to do and a the moment there are several hypotheses on the table, including the termination of his loan early.
