Repubblica: Milan shopping for a new striker – Atalanta and Eintracht Frankfurt duo on the list

The AC Milan management want to give Stefano Pioli a new striker to work with and they are targeting Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund ahead of the summer, a report claims.

This morning’s edition of La Repubblica (via MilanNews) writes that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are planning to give Pioli striker regardless of Oliver Giroud’s future, given that the Frenchman is 36 years of age and Zlatan Ibrahimovic is in his 40s and could retire.

One of the players on the list is Randal Kolo Muani of Eintracht Frankfurt but his asking price could be high, so Maldini and Massara are also thinking about Rasmus Hojlund, the 19-year-old who he is showing good things with Atalanta and was actually targeted by the Rossoneri in the summer.

At the moment he is not considered up for sale, but La Dea could change their mind if they were to receive a big offer given they spent €17m to sign him. The teenager has three goals and one assist in 13 Serie A appearances this season.
