AC Milan held contacts with the entourage of Mario Gila in the past few days, and they could try to sign him in January.
While Milan kept a clean sheet on Sunday in their 3-0 win over Hellas Verona, Koni De Winter’s shaky form and Matteo Gabbia’s injury – plus the potential departure on loan of David Odogu – have left the centre-back department looking a bit thinner.

Gila: New talks held
According to journalist Alessandro Jacobone, new discussions took place between Igli Tare and the entourage of Mario Gila last week, with the Rossoneri director intent on closing the gap and beating competition from Inter.
Inter see it as a signing to target for next June, while Milan wouldn’t mind bringing it forward to the winter window, an idea that doesn’t seem to appeal much to Lazio. Within the Biancocelesti management, there are those who would prefer to see the Spaniard go elsewhere.

The frictions between Fabiani and Tare at the time of the Albanian director’s farewell are well-known, even though they were denied by Lazio back then. It could make things more difficult for Milan, though the player will of course have his say too.
After 17 rounds, Gila had made 15 league appearances and one in the Coppa Italia, confirming his position as a key player in Maurizio Sarri’s defence. In Allegri’s three-man back line, he could be deployed in the centre or as the right-sided centre-back.

Gila is a very good centre back , will be a nice addition to our squad but Lazio have a hostile attitude about Milan when comes to transfer deals. I doubt we can agree with them at a reasonable price .
RLC – Gila swap; and give them additional 10-15M
Lewis Ferguson for midfield (20-25M)
Fortini (15-18M) and Vlahovic (free) in the summer
I think we get Vlahovic and Lewandowski.
impossible since leao pulisic one of the giminez nkunku will survive here and fulkrug im sure its only a loan so that only has space for 1 more striker if all of them want game time with the formation we have, its not feasible to have 5 high quality strikers(giminez is 35m euros and 24 so regard him as high quality even though his performances say otherwise) . lets say they did both come , then their is wage issues the 2 both make a combined 40m a year in wages. and even if we play champions league football we need to focus on the defence more than the attack with this formation unless we switch formation
Why on earth would you sacrifice a midfielder for Gila? Milan needs numbers at CB. No one should be leaving and if any midfielder leaves it will most likely be the one Allegri uses the least…Ricci, not RLC who is actually playing well.
need to stop using the word star and start using the proper term……player…Lazio player
