There is no truth to the rumours that AC Milan are still in talks over a deal for Romain Faivre of Brest, according to a report.
Faivre has had an excellent first half of the season in Ligue 1 with 7 goals and 5 assists in 18 games and Calciomercato.com reported yesterday that the winger feels ready to join a big club and try a new professional challenge.
Milan meanwhile remain convinced that the 23-year-old has the qualities and the versatility, with Massara having spoken with the agents of Faivre over a January deal which might include leaving him on loan in France until the summer.
According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the suggestions that the Diavolo are back in for Faivre are wide of the mark. For weeks the Rossoneri have claimed that they are no longer keen on the Brest forward and instead the rumours that have popped up are likely the product of the player’s entourage.
