CM: Milan remain interested in forward with 19 goal contributions this season – the situation

AC Milan are planning the attack they want to have going into the 2022-23 season and they are looking at two players in the Belgian league, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com reports that Romain Faivre will not be joining as the attacking midfielder is destined for Lyon, where he will join former Rossoneri playmaker Lucas Paquetá in a deal worth €15m, as Lyon replace the Brazilian Bruno Guimaraes who is heading to Newcastle United for €50m.

Among the profiles closely monitored by Milan is Noa Lang, who is under contract at Club Brugge until June 2025. There is a potential sign that the Belgian club are preparing for his exit because in January they signed two wingers, investing €7m each on Buchanan from New England Revolution in the MLS and Skov Olsen from Bologna.

In recent months Maldini and Massara have met his agents at Casa Milan, the same people who also represent the Belgian playmaker Yari Verschaeren of Anderlecht, who the Rossoneri are also keen on.

Arsenal and Liverpool’s interest in Lang seems to have faded a bit, so Milan have a bit more of a clear path to enter into negotiations with Brugge. Lang has scored 8 goals and added 11 assists this season.
