From nowhere, AC Milan are in a position where they could still get Champions League football, but how can it happen?

Financially, it would be massive, but the biggest impact would be on the fanbase, who would have something to show for this season. A sign that the Rossoneri still have life, and maybe even an inevitability for playing in Europe’s best competition.
This morning, Milan Press have looked into the situation and how the Diavolo could reach the top four, and more importantly, who needs to fall.
As it stands, Juventus and Lazio are tied on 64 points, with the former occupying that fourth place spot. However, Roma could leapfrog both on Monday with a win against Atalanta, which would take them to 66 points – something which cannot happen.
➤ Starting with the Giallorossi, they cannot get more than three points from their final games (Atalanta, Milan and Torino).
➤ Juventus cannot claim more than a point in their final two games, facing Udinese and Venezia. The same also goes for Lazio, who face Inter and Lecce.
➤ Bologna must get less than four points in the games against Fiorentina and Genoa.
➤ Finally, Fiorentina, must not get six points from their games against Venezia, Bologna and Udinese.
We then come to Milan, who need to win both of their final two games (Roma and Monza). A difficult task, out of their hands and seemingly in those of the Gods. However, it is still mathematically possible.
My gut tells me Juventus will get the points they need to finish 4th. One win in the final two games will likely be enough for them to finish above the rest, given the schedules, but I think they will take at least four points from these last two games.
I knew this was going to come up on this website.
Anyway, if this happens, then the anti-match fixing body has to come on board and look into the matter.

Milan have to win 2 matches against Roma and Monza. It is a must to get the maximum 66 points. Juventus and Fiorentina must not get 66 points because of Milan’s bad head to head score against them. Lazio is an exception because Lazio is h2h disadvantage against Roma. If Lazio Roma and Milan all have 66 points, Milan still can claim 4th place. All 3 teams have 5 points of h2h. If Milan can beat Roma with 2 goal difference. If Bologna get 66 points, Milan can get top 4 if any team other than Milan and Bologna get lower point than 66.
Maybe should have tried to win the matches against Juventus (who had half of the squad missing), Genoa at home for the anniversary match, Viola with the missed penalties etc and not lose to Parma etc.
So many individual matches that were easily winnable but the players decided to screw the club/team instead. The quality was there but the motivation wasn’t. But I guess the players have omitted that from the management. Winning is boring, right?
