CM: Milan offered chance to sign Napoli winger with €15m asking price set

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have a new profile to examine as Napoli winger Matteo Politano has been offered to the management, according to a report.

Milan are continuing to work making adjustments to their squad ahead of the 2022-23 season, one in which they will try to retain the Scudetto but also go further in Europe, but they need upgrades in order to do that and especially in attack.

The permanent signing of Junior Messias from Crotone seems likely as per widespread reports but there is also the desire to sign a new starting right winger who can guarantee more in terms of end product.

According to reports from Il Corriere dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com), Napoli winger Matteo Politano has been offered to Milan in recent days. He has asked his entourage to find him a new club and they are looking around, with several opportunities already emerging.

Gennaro Gattuso would like to bring the 28-year-old to Valencia, but the financial situation of the club does not help their pursuit, and Fiorentina also had contacts. The starting asking price is €15m but it is negotiable, so now the Rossoneri must make a call.

  1. Would be a horrible signing, I’d rather we get Noa Lang with that same amount l (I know we need another Italian but still)

    1. exactly!
Better to add another 5-10 mil and buy someone younger and more skillful.
The dream would be to add much more and to bring Antony but…

  2. He is already 28 years. His playstyle almost similar with Suso . Not worth for starter RW. Junior more cheaper and have more goals last season than him
