CM: Milan offered €30m Sassuolo youngster – idea of exchange involving Gabbia emerges

AC Milan have been offered the chance to sign Sassuolo forward Giacomo Raspadori through his entourage which has prompted reflections, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com report that the Milan management are thinking of signing another forward in addition to Divock origi in order to ensure the future of the striker role for the immediacy and beyond. Raspadori was proposed to the Rossoneri as his contract is expiring in 2024 and – unlike Scamacca and Frattesi – he has not renewed.

The 22-year-old closed the season with 10 goals and 6 assists in Serie A and has publicly declared that he feels ready to move to a top club, and while Raspadori is a young profile that Milan like, they remain focused on other targets such as Renato Sanches and Sven Botman at the moment.

Sassuolo’s request is around €30m, but possible counterparts to lower the cash sum are not excluded and the idea is to include Matteo Gabbia in the operation, who is attracting interest from Sampdoria.

Meanwhile, Juventus have identified Raspadori as a replacement for Morata if they do not find an agreement with Atletico Madrid for his permanent stay, while West Ham United are also keen. Milan, therefore, might have to make a call quickly.
